  1. Back from a quick day trip to Montreal to see wife's nephew. 5 hours driving for a 3 hour visit. It was good though.
  2. I think 11" is going to be the sweetspot for netbooks. At 10", 1024x600 is still pretty useless for anything but web browsing.
  3. Android x86 guys have an NDK now. Exactly what I was hoping for, a second architecture target to test Android CDT integration with.
  4. Unreal Development Kit is unreal. Push a button and all of a sudden you are playing the game in one of the views.
  5. RT @waynebeaton: I'm writing my first Android App. How exciting. >> Android rules ;)
  6. Unreal Development Kit blowing me away. Includes a visual programming language for shaders similar to what I saw with SynthMaker.
  7. Moblin 2.1 final looking good. Still missing hardware support for Dell Mini wireless, but bluetooth is there
  8. New blog entry re my dream http://ow.ly/zXg3 I dream too much sometimes...

  10. Wow, Epic launches free Unreal Engine development kit with everything you need to make high quality free games. http://ow.ly/zVZK
  11. Good-bye TweetDeck, Hello HootSuite. Thanks @IanSkerrett for the tip!
  12. Google Closure looks awesome. Need to look at Eclipse's JavaScript tooling and try it out.
  13. @IanSkerrett Not sure why Google would need to open up, things are rolling fine. And there's nothing wrong with that, just come clean re it
  14. @IanSkerrett what bothers me more is the smoke screen they put up on their mailing lists. They seem open, but code is only flowing one way.
  15. RT @IanSkerrett: Google releasing OSS code but not developing in the open http://bit.ly/1qecux >> the closer you look, the more you wonder
  16. So, with Google Closure Javascript library and tools, what's the GWT story? Should we do straight JS, or is there a combo arrangement?
  17. Hmm, gnome shell blew up VirtualBox with 3d turned on.
  18. @ericcloninger Well, we have the daily barrage of Olympic fever going on up here in Canada. Be sick of it come Feb.
  19. Yankees prove yet again, yes, you can buy a championship.
  20. Whatever happened to Android on Ubuntu?
