  1. I just ended up on youtube watching a DJ from my college days playing a theremin http://tinyurl.com/kv388x. I should go to sleep.
  2. Just like the JavaOneConf to use the same icon I'm using (that I stole from them)
  3. Averaging one login to Twitter a month. So far, I'm not the typical user...
  4. Late night release from home. First chance to tweet in a long, long time.
  5. And, checking as usual... http://hasthelargehadroncol...
  6. Sometimes I miss being a particle physicist... http://tinyurl.com/5wqach
  7. When reliability and stability don't matter to you, try ActiveMQ!
  8. Sorry, did not mean to imply that I'm ever cool even outside the minivan....
  9. I may not be "cool" when I drive our minivan, but I have 5.1 surround sound DVD-Audio when I drive it..... nice.
  10. First release of the new year! I *love* doing them on Friday night.
  11. Doing some production support. Comment in code: "WE PROACTIVELY PREVENT THE CODE FROM BLOWING CHUNKS." Apparently not true.
  12. Genesis, Selling England by the Pound, Firth of Fifth, Steve Hackett's solo... had to just stop working and listen...
  13. Also, I see good news that the FBI has finally hauled the IL Blaginator to jail.
  14. Now moving on to Foxtrot. Also sounds great.
  15. Listening to the CD layer of the new Genesis Nursery Cryme SACD (best I can do at work). Awesome.
  16. Finally ordered the Genesis 1970-1975 SACD/DVD-NTSC box set. Had to get it from hmv.co.jp. Yeesh.
  17. Well, finally got the new portal into production. Now discovering the data issues. Who needs database constraints to keep the code honest?
  18. Awesome webpage: http://hasthelargehadroncol...
  19. @Pierus I'm proud of you. Remaining sober there until the second to last day is quite the accomplishment.
  20. I had no idea that there was such fear about the safety of the LHC. Cosmic rays kick its ass all the time. No worries. Yeesh.
