  1. Last night in China: Beijing crud will not keep me down -- rallying for Peking duck dinner #mindovervirus
  2. Very excited to learn that our flight tmrw is "very much good luck": flt #88! The only thing better would be flt #99! :)
  3. Enjoying a "very-much expensive" cup of coffee at Beijing pearl market. Don't ask. Glad we're headed back tmrw, need more "vacation fuel"
  4. @DCKrisV Just give everyone grande abracoes e beijinhos. You'll be great, no doubt.
  5. Unexpected stop at the Beijing pearl market. Wondering if we have $$$ on our backs or what. Pondering tour guides' kickback. No matter.
  6. Great Wall lunch break: seeking the perfect pharma-thermo-liqui-carbo-caffeinated combo to flip my body's reset button. My cold WILL comply.
  7. Road crud (#SNDC version of SND-Sars?) finally catches me. Trying to power thru w vitamin C, breakfast and positive thinking.
  8. My body's still swaying 2 hrs after disembarking from our 11-hr train trek to Beijing. It's frigid here with remnants of last week's snow.
  9. Bar atop the Shanghai Radisson: the bldgs seemed to continue for miles in every direction into the mist http://twitpic.com/ozkag
  10. Rainy day of touring Shanghai culminates w dusk shopping at Old Town; great noodle bowl dinner. Off to the overnight train to Beijing next.
  11. Mojo Cafe has restored mine. @DeniseReagan and i using knife/fork for the first time in a week. Felt odd but we managed :)
  12. Feeling right at home in a rainy, grey Shanghai - it's like most spring days in Detroit. (Give or take 19M people and a successful economy.)
  13. @MakingNews A W's a W. Go for it, coach.
  14. @DeniseReagan and I officially close an expat Shanghai bar. Solid. G'night. :)
  15. I think @DeniseReagan and I just checked into Shanghai's version of The Bates Motel. Oh my. But we're close to the train station. Nice.
  16. From #SNDC exercise reviews earlier. Makes me wonder just what kind of Frankenstein we've built here :) http://twitpic.com/ovgr4
  17. Lo says she likes @DeniseReagan's "voice of smile" (that would be "laughter" to you and me) #SNDC
  18. Stoked to learn @LilyLu just helped set up a translator and car for our visit to the Great Wall Thursday. Sweet! 3 days vac almost here :)
  19. China allows it when I use a #hashag within a sentence but not at the end. Go figure. She's a sensitive censor. Who knew?
  20. Alert the guards! @DeniseReagan is firing up an alternative story form revolution over here at #SNDC. Things may never be the same...
