  1. @_MG_ Saw that, but not the same thing. :( #chrome #1password #please
  2. RT @rasmus: @cdibona Perhaps you misunderstand. Load up http://2tu.us/19n9 in FF and Chrome. Then do http://2tu.us/19na
  3. RT @rasmus: @cdibona The principle behind it is the same. DNS hijacking may be more damaging, but both go against the spirit of the unde ...
  4. RT @matthewsaville: Just noticed - I recently passed the mark of 5,000 prints sold through @SmugMugPro. Thanks @SmugMug for so many year ...
  5. RT @rasmus: @DonMacAskill I really hate the hijacked (<512 bytes) 404 page thing Chrome does by default though.
  6. @rasmus Wasn't aware of that. That's a little scary. Have to check our 404s.
  7. Google Chrome is noticeably snappier than Safari or Firefox. I love the new browser wars. #chrome #win
  8. *Loving* Google Chrome for Mac. Blazing fast. Still hate the flickery status bar - wish I could disable. Need 1Password. #chrome #win
  9. The @ladygaga Monster Ball show in SF last night was EPIC! #monster #gaga #ladygaga
  10. @eschrad I hope so, but honestly don't know. All the experts hang out here: http://bit.ly/7xXLDS
  11. RT @makennaheld: @DonMacAskill Returned my nook. Kept my kindle. Much happier for it. Thanks for the suggestion.
  12. @jjhuff This particular installation won't handle photos/video, just HTML/AJAX/etc, so I'm more concerned with conns/sec. Thousands.
  13. In testing now: IPVS (L4 in LVS-DR) + keepalived (health) -> varnish (L7 HTTP) + haproxy (HTTPS passthrough) -> web boxes
  14. Whoa. Load balancer config actually operational and working. Love it when theory turns into practice. Now to just test it thoroughly. :)
  15. @mrod411 I can't stand my Sony Reader because buying content is a huge pain. So no, I wouldn't say it's mom-proof :(
  16. @webfabric IPVS can't do SNAT. Can't have my web farm on same segment (can't do LVS-DR). So LVS-DR to something that can proxy/SNAT.
  17. @SeanChittenden Every single time. Honestly, I can't believe there's not "one choice" that works for all the very common use cases.
  18. @markimbriaco Just doing TCP passthrough, is the plan. Still playing. If I decide to terminate instead, I'll use nginx.
  19. Looking like LVS (IPVS) + keepalived for L4 -> varnish (HTTP) + haproxy (HTTPS) for L7 -> web clusters.
  20. @mindflux I own a Kindle, Kindle 2, and a Kindle DX. Many of the employees own Kindle 2s. We were excited then disappointed. :( #nook
