  3. Phenomenal numbers of bronze, silver and gold awards in the Junior Maths Challenge. This challenge designed for top mathematicians in Yr8!
  4. Judges from national 'MoreDickens' competition visited & we were so proud of how the children showed them our Dickens work. In the last 3!
  5. Dolphin children were out & about this weekend. Yr8 on a practice overnight camp for the Alps trip & Yr4 walking the 7 Sisters in E Sussex!
  6. Yr1&2 & dance club were part of an attempt to break a Dance World Record today. What an excellent sense of rhythm they all have!
  7. Thrilled to have so many visitors again on our open day. Yr8 did a fabulous job showing them around as usual and were a huge credit to us!

  10. Children really enjoyed meeting Olympic gymnast Danny Lawrence today when he gave a dazzling display of his skills & answered questions!

  14. Sketches of Boz, Judy Seall's play about the life & writings of Charles Dickens was such a success for the children in Yrs 7 &8. Brilliant!!
  15. Children & staff from Nursery to Y8 dressed in red or the strangest fancy dress, walked a mile on field to raise over £800 for Sports Relief
  16. Year 5 left school today perfectly dressed as 2nd World War evacuees complete with gas masks. An excellent day was had by one and all!
  17. House music today was a real triumph. Amazing composition & hard work by David,enthusiasm from staff & delightful performances by children !
  18. Very pleased to hear that our children came 8th, 12th and 20th out of 86 pairs at the Year 5 Maths Challenge at Wellington College today!
  19. Another excellent week where I saw some really good work from the children. And also some outstanding examples of kindness to each other.
