  1. Sorry, but there is *no way* I am checking a box that says "Always trust software from 'Oracle Corporation'".
  2. Installing VirtualBox. It's 2008 R2 Cluster Fun Playtime!
  3. TweetDeck replays several day's worth of old DMs after I log in. Luckily, they're very positive, so it's a nice way to start the day. :-)
  4. @devtony I'll take "fuzzy but bright" over "clearly dim", any day.
  5. Employer just canceled my 3-day training voucher. And gave me 10 days instead. :-)
  6. Creating filters for some of the political spam I'm receiving this morning. It's amazing some of the email lists I wind up on.
  7. CBus folks - Anyone interested in an HP LaserJet 8100N? Free to good home. New cartridge. DM me for details.
  8. Yesterday: WorkWorkWork. Today: RestRestRest. Tomorrow: PlayPlayPlay. #3DayWeekend
  9. Early release FTW!
  10. @cuddlepenguin True. Even people w/ "normal" vision can lose peripheral with their headphones on and are hyper-focused on their screen.
  11. ProTip: When standing outside someone's peripheral vision, no amount of hand waving will get their attention.
  12. Writing up a SQL FAQ for our DB Systems home page. Also something I can email to vendors next time I have to do that dance.
  13. @SQLPoolBoy I will play around with it. Thanks. :-) #sqlhelp
  14. @erinstellato I think I've been on every coaster there except that one. Enjoy. :-)
  15. Have I mentioned how nice it is to work for an employer that values training? Well, it's nice.
  16. Got it. Thanks @SQLPoolBoy @davebally @DataOgre . Appreciate your time. #sqlhelp
  17. @DataOgre Was that for performance reasons or otherwise?
  18. @davebally Agree - already informed the devs that this DB is horribly under-indexed already, with few useful stats. Thanks. #sqlhelp
  19. @SQLPoolBoy Sadly, they are not recursive. Would you say that temp tables are worth pursuing/testing in such a situation? #sqlhelp
