@ interstellar medium average density is 10^6 atoms/m^3, so you must be talking intergalactic. Is that Voids, or in the local group?

@ re: 3 atoms per m^3 - is that somewhere in the thermosphere, heliosphere, interstellar space, intergalactic? Or is some average? ;)

@ I am becoming a fan of Celestron. Their "price conscious" equatorial mount is the CG-5. $749 by itself. ...

@ For astrophoto a good equatorial mount is as or more important than the optical tube. And likely to be more expensive.

@ GMT based on average Sun straight up at noon from obs. Their atomic clock is UTC. Leap seconds used to keep them close.

@ UTC and GMT are same for time zone. GMT is based on Greenwich observatory, UTC is based on atomic clocks; up to .9 sec diff.

@ Airport asked us not to test on the 7th. They don't have enough people to provide adequate coverage.

If there are microbes in Enceladus plume, thus a second tree of life, what new discoveries about biology and medicine await?

That would be so awesome! RT @ if there are microbes in the plumes, could be first time a human machine touched alien life.
