  1. It's only the 3rd quarter, and I just turned the Marshall game off. Sigh. Remember the 90s? That was fun ...
  2. Thanking the Lord for bringing us home safely last night. Amazed at how well the girls traveled all day ... they are real troopers.
  3. Somewhere in KY waiting on Jen to get back to the car with SBUX. Garmin says ETA is 9 p.m.
  4. While everyone else is navigating Black Friday madness, we'll just be trying to get home. WV here we come!
  5. Just had my first Thanksgiving Day roll fresh out of the oven. My sister-in-law Rebecca did an amazing job! Love the pre-meal snacks.
  6. I'm getting excited about the message this Sunday morning (8:30 service). This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for how God uses His Word.
  7. Spending some time preparing for this Sunday, and listening to Newsong's "The Song of Christmas." Thank you, Jesus ... God with us. Wow.
  8. Considering God's greatest gift on this quiet morning. Also lifting up others to Him in prayer. Please encourage hearts today, Lord.
  9. Still getting used to flat land and a one-hour time difference. And I keep hearing Keith Jackson saying, "TOUCHDOWN, ALLLLLLL-A-BAMA!"
  10. Arrived safely in Alabama earlier today. So thankful for the Burton and Martin families, and looking forward to spending the week with them.
  11. Great run and prayer time this morning at the hotel. Praying for the services at Lewis today ... then on our way to Alabama shortly.
  12. Happy for Marshall's seniors, who finally got the Herd to six wins. Wondering if they'll get the seventh next week.
  13. In a comfortable hotel room in Atlanta. ... heading the rest of the way to south Alabama tomorrow. Thankful for a great trip so far.
  14. Feeling the need to write. Wishing I had time.
  15. The hardest part about going out of town is preparing to go out of town.
  16. Brain full (or at least the 10 percent that I consistently use).
  17. Praying for the Bragg family today, as they gather to honor the life of Steve's grandfather.
  18. Just found a receipt from Walmart ... purchases were candy apples, cupcakes, toothbrushes and toothpaste ;)
  19. I think twitching muscles are interesting to watch. Oh, and I had a dream about Hebrew words last night. These are unrelated. I think.
  20. Looking forward to worship and Bible study today at Lewis. Thankful that because of Christ, I am reconciled to God!
