  1. 28 Days Later started strong, but we didn't like it after they get to the mansion. Too depressingly real and violent to be fun, bad ending.
  2. @gruber Don't you just wish that was still the case?
  3. The 2005 version of Amityville Horror was better than we expected. Still prefer the original, but as far as modern horror goes, not bad.
  4. @snail_5 I dunno, but it's awesome. Those are binoculars, right?
  5. @Ghouligan Fireworks listed as legal by the State of WA are legal to discharge in Kent from 9am to 11pm on the 4th. See http://xrl.us/bezufd
  6. Tired, ready to sleep. Unfortunately, it's a wee bit noisy outside. Apparently the local militia is using up all their surplus ammunition.
  7. Funny, this is the first time I've lived in a town where fireworks are legal. Sitting on our porch, listening and catching glimpses. Neat!
  8. New blog post: Jason Webley Elevanniversary http://bit.ly/lIh22
  9. New blog post: Links for July 1st through July 4th http://bit.ly/3H9KM
  10. I've been getting a lot of OpenDNS 'this website isn't responding' pages lately. Is this a me thing, a Quest thing, some other thing?
  11. @AxsDeny And, sadly, one of these days, I'll probably be bored enough to do so. At least that one doesn't have any sequels (yet)!
  12. Wow, Resident Evil was horrendous. How'd they ever greenlight a sequel? And why did I rent it without knowing how bad the first one was?
  13. Rented 4 horror films for the wknd: Resident Evil 1 & 2, 28 Days Later, & the Michael Bay Amityville Horror. July 4th is zombie day, right?
  14. Last night in brief: @jasonwebley, @amandapalmer, many others, balloons, happiness, raucusness, happy tears, lots of love. Not bad!
  15. @norwescon Nice, I joined up!
  16. Made it home! Happy anniversary @jasonwebley - glad we could make the show, it was fun! Here's to eleven more years!
  17. Heading downtown for dinner and @jasonwebley's 11th Anniversary Show! Woohoo!
  18. Decided I really, really want Palin to run for Prez in 2012. What wonderful theater that would be. I'd love to see a Palin/Obama debate. Ha!
  19. Palin's stepping down? Bizarre, but not unwelcome. Now what? I'm going to laugh (hard) if she's seriously thinking about a presidential bid.
  20. @Ghouligan @wilw Even better: since it's from Memories of the Future, I remember how awesome that _will be_!
