  1. Back from the Norwescon meeting. Funny, the Doubletree hotel just looks _wrong_ when it's not con time. Not enough weirdness and oddity.
  2. @AxsDeny Our code is on a little wallet card. Four years after buying the car, no clue where the card is. Gotta go to the dealer. Argh.
  3. @nyquildotorg Yeah, looks like we're going to have to get a dealer to yank our stereo out as well. Aggravating.
  4. Oh, that's obnoxious. Replacing a car battery should not disable the stereo. Thanks for your overzealous antitheft crap, Honda.
  5. @lyracole Yup, it was a Star Trek book. :)
  6. I'm #reading Bloodthirst by J.M. Dillard - http://bit.ly/2ibtgX
  7. 3 of 5 stars to The Disinherited by Peter David - http://bit.ly/1sOMua
  8. My LAJ advisor/teacher just asked me to TA for one of her classes next quarter. Sweet!
  9. Next quarter: LAJ302 (Criminal Procedure), LAJ400 (Research Methods in Criminal Justice), and LAJ403 (Sexual Minorities in Law and Justice).
  10. New blog post: Links for November 5th through November 12th http://bit.ly/3a9hjM
  11. @The_Gobo I noticed that too, but then, he wasn't in the original trailer either: http://djwudi.com/l
  12. I'm curious about the Clash of the Titans remake, but this trailer http://djwudi.com/k is just a noisy, flashy mess. Titans Will Clash? Ugh.
  13. Just played two rounds of Harry Potter Clue (my other bday gift to Prairie). It adds some nice twists to normal Clue. Fun variation!
  14. Just gave Prairie the new Stephen King novel for her birthday. I'll be surprised if she's moved off the couch when I get home from class.
  15. My Intro to Criminal Law course (LAJ313) just got to the chapter on sexual assault. The history of rape statutes is really disturbing.
  16. I'm #reading Dreams of the Raven by Carmen Carter - http://bit.ly/4g9J5M
  17. 3 of 5 stars to Death Count by L.A. Graf - http://bit.ly/2io0uA
  18. Caruso's perma-growl delivery simultaneously cracks me up and annoys me every time I watch CSI:Miami. Over the top and understated at once.
  19. @snail_5 Ended up speaking Germish?
  20. @RowanSilverwing It's possible! Yes for the meeting. Unsure about the Merc. Like the place and people, not so much the smoke. Debating.
