  1. @Aleanathem I'm pretty sure I voted for Kucinich in that election.
  2. @Naithin @Aleanathem Personally w/those circumstances I don't think I would have been a much better leader.
  3. @Aleanathem @Naithin It's because he's current and had the misfortune of 1)living in daddy's shadow and 2)had to deal w/9-11 fallout.
  4. @Naithin HEY THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT >.<
  5. @Aleanathem @Naithin @Saresa Nat'l HC seems to work for a few countries and fails miserably in others.
  6. @Aleanathem @Naithin All I want is the ability to say "no, i would not like to purchase health insurance" and not be fined for my choice
  7. Holy hell I just found stacks of infinite dust on our AH for < 2g per dust. /buys it all
  8. @Kharendos congrats sweetie :)
  9. @Aleanathem hehehehe
  10. @omgitsafox *nuzzles and hugs* feel better dear
  11. @lougagliardi essentially wasted all the money he/she sunk into the plan. ymmv, but i just try my damnedest to not get doctor-visit sick.
  12. @lougagliardi insurance doesn't cover 100%, and you end up paying for it regardless. the person that has insurance & doesn't get sick has--
  13. @lougagliardi insurance doesn't prevent all of this cost. my mom has insurance and several health problems. she still has steep med bills.
  14. @lougagliardi That something like major surgery will be something i'm paying on for a very, very long time
  15. @lougagliardi That my medicines may cost more (actually the copay on my company's insurance is more expensive than most of my meds)
  16. @lougagliardi I understand that I, as someone w/out insurance, will be more likely to have to pay all or most of a visit up front.
  17. @lougagliardi I just don't think I should be forced to have insurance if i don't want to buy it.
  18. @lougagliardi but fining people up to 25k for CHOOSING to not have insurance? locking them in prison up to 5 years? DO NOT WANT.
  19. @lougagliardi My opinion would probably change slightly if Congress was like "we can't wait to get our families on these plans"
  20. @lougagliardi --essentially forcing people into, and something they are not willing to take for themselves.
