  1. GDD Russia is going well. Keynote demos were flawless, my HTML5 session was mobbed, and I fielded over 20 questions! #gdd2009ru
  2. My beagle does not fully grasp the concept of video conferencing. I said "Hello Beauregard!" and he ran to the front door.
  3. @sergray Yes, I'll be at the GDD in Moscow on Tuesday, doing HTML5 demos during the keynote, then an hour-long followup session.
  4. In my hotel in Moscow, internet access is free but TV is 1200 rubles per day. Boy are you doing it wrong.
  5. I have arrived in Moscow, where I am connected to the same internet we have in North Carolina. This is underappreciated.
  6. @svl_fronteers Why on Earth does anyone care what Douglas Crockford thinks of HTML? That's like asking what I think of Moldovan politics.
  7. Walked around Prague for 5 hours. Up and down the river, over the Charles Bridge. Never made it to Prague Castle, but I had a lot of fun.
  8. Enjoying the local cuisine at Cafe Negatif in Prague.
  9. Hanging with Google folks after GDD Prague, avoiding the local cuisine -- bruschetta with chicken livers! http://yfrog.com/0l4kykj

  12. I don't speak Czech, but I'm pretty sure I understood this guy's t-shirt that says "Legalacion!" with a picture of a pot leaf.
  13. @hassmanm Were you there? I thought it went quite well.
  14. "This page was viewed 60,304 times via 528 sources" http://is.gd/4MZnW Folks love them some Internet folklore.
  15. Apress tells me they sent out review copies of "Dive Into Python 3" to everyone who sent me their mailing address. Anyone got it yet?
  16. @rem Fixed, thanks.
  17. @joedevon depends on what doctype you're using. If you're relying on ie6/7 rendering quirks, upgrading to <!doctype html> may break things.
  18. In cyanogen we trust.
  19. @cori more like IE8, Firefox 3, Safari 4, Chrome 3, Opera 10. Some support goes further than that; I have mini-charts in specific sections.
  20. @mathias Fixed, thanks.
