  11. OK, there is our resident curmudgeon House Wren driving off a Eastern Wood-Peewee. Woe to any bird that gets within 20' of that Wren's nest!
  12. Yesterday's Cowbird notwithstanding, it looks like plenty of Northern Cardinals fledged.
  13. @ontdeksafaris Happy birding back at you from the Old Dominion. We're heading to Botswana and S. Afr. next month. Maybe Kenya another time.
  14. @ontdeksafaris Probably from noted association with American Bison in Old West, later around livestock, foraging insects in disturbed soil.
  15. Eastern Bluebirds, Gray Catbirds, White-breasted Nuthatches and Northern Cardinals all successfully nesting in our yard this year.
  16. House Wren busily foraging for insects. Looks like we've got broods in both Williamsburg pots.
  17. Watching male Northern Cardinal feed shelled seeds to insistent juvenile Brown-headed Cowbird. No doubt the Cardinal's "adoptive" offspring.
  18. @levyj413 +/-30%. I wield the "Block" function mercilessly for the obvious Twitter Twits, so they don't clutter the follower list.
  19. Just got off the first big Data.gov agency POCs planning/process teleconference. This will be a nontrivial exercise if ever there was one.
  20. @dardusius So, you took the plunge! Welcome.
