  1. @MichielvOtegem I think an in place upgrade is not supported.
  2. Finally completed the upgrade of #fluentassertions to the release candidate of WinRT.
  3. @MichielvOtegem What were your problems up to now? I've already installed my development laptop and a tablet using a USB stick.
  4. ....and the [ExpectedException] attribute is nowhere to be found in #vs2012 RC
  5. Damn. The Metro equivalent of TestMethod and TestClass attributes have moved to a different namespace since the Beta.
  6. @McAkins Thanks, I already fixed it using the BCD command prompt. The boot record was corrupt.
  7. Trying to compile Fluent Assertions against the RC version of WinRT
  8. @McAkins Repair didn't work "Windows 8 is not supported". But the BCD command line did the trick.
  9. It seems stuff like ILGenerator and DynamicMethod worked in WinRT Beta, but doesn't in the RC.
  10. Pfew. Using the BCD.exe from the repair command prompt allowed me to boot again. Was scared my SSD crashed.
  11. My #win8 machine just rebooted after an unexpected 1 minute warning and now it can't find NTLDR. Is that an SSD issue?
  12. I'm done. Now running VS2012 RC on Windows 8 RP.
  13. It's scary to see how much of my settings, history and other stuff is still there after doing a full reinstall of my system with #win8 rc.
  14. Reinstalled my laptop with #win8 RP. Now installing VS2010 (for WP7) development. Next is VS2012.
  15. @nmerrigan Thanks. Downloading the Release Preview now.
  16. @nmerrigan Do you ever read a user manual?
  17. Ah, so it seems you cannot install #vs2012 rc on the #win8 consumer preview.... #fail
  18. @mterwoord Nope. You get different instances, so ReferenceEquals won't work either.
  19. How do you compare two PropertyInfo instances? The Equals() doesn't cut it.
