  1. Best tool for debugging broken WSDL (web services definition) -- NetBeans.
  2. Playing with web services for the first time for a scientific problem. Pretty cool, till you hit something that doesn't work as expected.
  3. Trying to come up with (amazing, miraculous, <insert adjective>) insights about a protein I modeled so we can publish in a better journal.
  4. If you need to explicitly prohibit everything wrong, you've already lost. Loophole finders are bad for communities. #gentoo
  5. @allisonrandal: Hope you're feeling better! Sorry to miss you at #osb09.
  6. @benpotter: I closed the draft to do something else ... it was when I wanted to *resume* writing that I noticed I was screwed.
  7. !$#!#!@#. I just accidentally deleted a draft of a really long email in Gmail. Apparently I clicked Discard when I just wanted to close it.
  8. @techpuppy: Once you've identified the assholes, get 'em the hell out of there. =) Your project/team's mission isn't fixing people. #osb09
  9. @hal_pomeranz: You sat in the front row at my assholes talk, right? Any thoughts / feedback? #osb09
  10. @demew: Saw you say that earlier. =) I think it ties into the idea of making sure people easily get your culture. #osb09
  11. @demew: It's so true, though. Esp in OSS. But the "No Asshole Rule" book has mitigation strategies toward the end. #osb09
  12. @demew: Crap. That means I'll probably have to write something on dealing with assholes after all, to fill in the blanks. #osb09
  13. @sam_goldstein: Thanks! Got ~5ish min behind schedule and didn't notice till it was too late. =\ They need clocks at backs of rooms. #osb09
  14. @verso @camikaos @drnormal: Thanks for taking time to interview me before shutting down Wed night! Lemme know if I can help... #osb09
  15. @demew: Saw you basically liveblogged my talk on assholes -- very cool! What'd you think of it?
  16. If you came to my assholes talk at OSBridge, please give me some feedback at http://bit.ly/2rxcz so I can make it better! #osb09
  17. @jzb: Maybe ... I'm notoriously bad at actually posting anything to it. My last post was in March. Writing takes valuable time ...
  18. @jzb: No, I'm working on getting access to the video of my talk though, and I'm gonna rework the slides for SlideShare.
  19. @stickster: Glad you enjoyed my talk on assholes yesterday. I was hoping to meet you in person -- are you on the foundations list?
  20. My talk from yesterday "assholes are killing your project" is just starting to stream on http://strangelovelive.com/ right now. #osb09
