  2. In Oyster Bay Long Island NY - where it was 70 degrees yesterday.... and yet it snowed in Houston??
  3. Two more India updates - http://www.dawnriley.com and http://blog.dawnriley.com final one will be posted tomorrow.
  4. 28hrs travel from India but so worth it. Roasted turkey wing, smashed potatoes & green bean casserole & now sleepy. Final report tomorrow.
  5. Going straight though since yesterday's 6am work out except for 3.5hr sleep. LOTS of great ideas & played w/ http://www.magicbusindia.org

  8. Prepping for conference in India - "Leading by Example -How We Can Build Social Cohesion". Watched Slumdog Millionaire & now packing.
  9. St. Thomas YC held a great US SAILING Women's MR Champs. Genny won, Anna 2nd, Katie (w/ Dana Riley) 3rd. (us 6th) Back in DTW by 12:30am.
  10. 7 more races - 1.5 pts out of 4th - better day on the water. Tonight - heading off island to have dinner on St. John's. Not too shabby :-)
  11. LONG day yesterday finished with 1.5 hr. practice & asleep on the couch at 8:30 - today 7 races in all conditions. 5th & hope to move up
  12. Alarm set for 4am - heading from JFK to St. Thomas in the morning.
  13. Heading back to NY on Fri: Greenport & Oyster Bay where good things are happening. The city Mon & Tues & then racing in the USVI on Wed.
  14. New York City - Mystic Seaport is honoring Bill Koch tonight at the University Club. Quite a few of the Women's Team will be there too!
  15. First working session of US SAILING's new board is in session in Houston. Will be back in MI by 4pm.
  16. Leaving a beautiful day in Michigan and heading to Houston for 5 days of US SAILING meetings.
  17. Up & at the computer since 6am. Watching a lovely sunrise over Lake St. Clair. Lots to do before US SAILING Board meetings next week.
  18. Off to New York City for the Women's Sports Foundation Annual Gala Dinner - Hoping to raise nearly $2million for a great cause.
  19. Just finished the Alumni Regatta at BYC. A great day of racing & 8 W/L twice around races kept us warm in the 50 degree weather!
  20. Busy day in Detroit - Speaking @ Meadowbrook Women's Club & then practice for the Alumni Regatta at Bayview YC and possibly a date to finish
