  2. On the Christmas morning pancake fest, with our grandkids—Julian (4), Evie (3), and Audrey (1)—chocolate chip is law. And an occasional M&M.
  3. My daughter-in-law, the lovely, adorable Katie Roberts requested that I make a pancake breakfast tomorrow. I can't think of anything batter.
