  2. further developing the methodology concepts "beyond enterprise architecture". Blogging on Ecosystem 2 - http://tinyurl.com/yzz2r5t
  3. @RSessions I have used these guys v successfully http://www.verticalresponse.com/
  4. @RSessions I also id a pattern that I have named "state change precedence". Changes pre to post conditions. Fundamental difference methinks!
  5. @RSessions well different patterns for starters - pub/sub vs request response; yes both use the ESB.
  6. Concluding the key difference between SOA and EDA is that preconditions (SOA) become post conditions (EDA). Intrinsically looser coupled.
  7. researching intersection of SOA and EDA. No EDA ref model makes for confusion. What is an event? Something happened? Or a change of state?
  8. @EnterprisingA depends on the type of cert. We have focused too much on architects at expense of PMs, testers, BAs etc etc
  9. @EnterprisingA large systems integrator has lots of people. Exploring stepped certification needs by role; not just architects of course.
  10. @mikojava too easy to say dead or crocked. The concepts will morph to respond to business demand - ie business value in months not years
  11. responding to customer request for SOA certification for 4500 individuals
  12. Pulling together October CBDI Journal. Yes I'm afraid it's late again. Worth wait for worked examples of SoaML aligned metamodel I hope.
  13. @mikojava The evolving CBDI SOA methodology covers various ecosystem patterns - some of which will be smarter, some less so.
  14. @mikojava fair cop! No intent to hitch to that wagon, just they have good examples. Give me some examples and I will be pleased to use.
  15. @mikojava but the enterprise as we know it is changing and architecture approach must also change http://tinyurl.com/yzu27zo
  16. @SOAsocial see Snake Oil Association Manifesto at http://tinyurl.com/ylgsyvm
  17. reading the Snake Oil Association (SOA) Manifesto http://tinyurl.com/ylgsyvm - make sure you have a tissue handy before reading!
  18. Thinking about extending - no revising core SOA principles for the smart ecosystem architecture
