  8. @chrishodgins you're not missing anything. if performance not core, use one of the SAX2DOM classes to build a dom on the side and XPath it
  9. @chrishodgins I'm guessing you want it to perform then? not so easy. shouldn't need that much state. a linked list and an array is too much?
