  1. Good ol' traffic jams making a 10 min drive take > 1 hr... Well that's set my mood for the rest of the day!
  2. these past couple of days have been very long! i think i may have to attach myself to my pillow this weekend
  3. looking for a senior .NET freelancer great experience of SOAP and HTML/JS (eg JQuery) for approx 1 month, immediate start
  4. @notwothesame good to know! In that case i'll be sure to give you a buzz the next time a request like this comes my way!
  5. @notwothesame thankfully the client was convinced to scrap with the idea... but thanks for the reply, is this something you're able to do?
  6. @drewm you an me both! cant believe I've been asked for one. Thanks for the info, might help narrow my search for something to use
  7. Anyone out there with experience building Mac/Win screensavers and ability to deliver by end of week, please get in touch!
  8. @Dicko7 why on earth would you want to puish yourself like that when their's a perfectly good train going up the mountain? ;-)
  9. @techpractical who said development isnt a creative discipline :)
  10. @Malarkey also, SEO isnt just a marketeers job; copy writers/editors, developers and designers play an enormous part
  11. @cole007 theres no problem offering a "component" of SEO (which many html devs do), but the confusion comes from thinking thats all there is
  12. @Malarkey copywriters make good attractive copy, marketeers would work with editors in ensuring the copy is optimised for appearing in SERPs
  13. @cole007 not quite, SEO is about optimisation of a website (content, markup, taxonomy etc). it's a component of SEM, not a separate function
  14. @Malarkey what SEO does "is" common sense, but the techniques/practices used may not always be, also many people confuse SEO with SEM
  15. @AMSJok but no, i dont, just a random thought :)
  16. @AMSJok u need to reply using @{name} for me to know you're replying :) in the website click the curly arrow to the right of the tweet
  17. @avatarcreative shame too as i enjoyed the last one i attended in wokingham. just the wrong time of day for a commuter
  18. now ive landed myself a "proper" job over in London, there'll be no time for any more 4networking meetings :(
  19. I now no longer think a motorbike is the best vehicle to have in a traffic jam... I would get much more satisfaction with a monster truck!!
  20. @techpractical its irrational to think that swine flu is easier to catch, but it's more dangerous if caught for those with existing problems
