  1. @objo whoops s/@chadfolwer/@chadfowler/
  2. @objo I'm thankful for @chadfolwer and @kellyjeanne even though I still overeat and don't exercise :-)
  3. @robin_black Black-eyed peas?
  4. Here come the robots. Sauve qui peut! #conferenciaror
  5. @robin_black Yeah, just rub it in. Mind you, I imagine I can find some good food in Madrid....
  6. Hungry -- not used to Spanish feeding hours.
  7. About to find out how good my Spanish comprehension skills are. #conferenciaror
  8. Here we are at #conferenciaror. @wycats to speak in a few minutes.
  9. @TheSyComplex Thanks!
  10. At my hotel in Madrid, wondering what my jet-lag pattern will be.
  11. @TheSyComplex Or referring to "the African-American one" when discussing the individual Spice Girls.
  12. @TheSyComplex That's a different matter, though. I'm talking about, e.g., "an unidentified African-American male was seen...."
  13. @JRGarcia Yes -- I was parsing from right to left, and didn't even have to get that far :-)
  14. It is so ridiculous that people describe someone as "African-American" when they don't even know whether the person is American.
  15. Just saved ~ $100 by having a McGuyver moment with my annoying noisy Rockports. One box cutter and one paper towel tube later, no noise.
  16. Dear clothing and shoe industry: On behalf of all men with a waist > 38 inches, and/or feet of width > medium, fuck you.
  17. Glad to hear #RubyConf went well! I'm sad I missed it but the judgment that I needed unstructured pre-new-job time was correct.
  18. These graylists and such really are rather McCarthyist.
  19. @rbazinet I didn't realize Ruby needed a renaissance -- I thought it was alive and well :-)
  20. @svenfuchs That warning really should be removed. The whole point was to make it so you don't have to worry about duplicating var. names.
