  1. @rbanks54 Never mind, just saw your blog post. :)
  2. @rbanks54 What kata are you doing?
  3. Wow, the autocomplete for undeclared members in R# 5 is so very awesome for TDDing.
  4. @xerxesb To be honest I'm not seeing much value in them regardless of what you call them. I think general coding exercises work best for me.
  5. @rbanks54 Richard, please never, ever apologise for being clothed. It suits you! :P
  6. Nice :) RT @scottgu: Neat VS 2010 feature RT Generating a Sequence Diagram in VS 2010: http://bit.ly/4rMYlW (via @david_hayden)
  7. @xerxesb No, but you can borrow my dead daffodil. It's just as effective :-\ Speaking of which, where is this alleged cool change?
  8. Made an air conditioning duct from polystyrene packing sheets and a roll of duct tape. Feel like MacGyver, but more like Vic Frankenstein.
  9. @shannoncornish Framework ForEach on List is implemented using a for loop w/ index (so it's {2,4}). And definitely agree it's a bad idea. :)
  10. @troyahunt @guywithbeard even takes some nice photos on his iPhone :)
  11. @troyahunt Anyway, my point is that you can get nice pics on any hardware. And if you have a choice, a nice lens is a huge help.
  12. @troyahunt Both have 9 focus points http://bit.ly/4Y3mO0 Speed is much better, as is the LCD. Don't like the video though.
  13. . @guywithbeard Well done! :) Had a comment about modifying lists while using ForEach, and thought that showed it's a bad idea :)
  14. @unclebobmartin Nice explanation in your kata post. Just finished watching the kata and asked myself "why?", then got the answer via RSS :)
  15. Quiz (work it out, don't run it!): what will be in list? >>> var list = new List<int> {1,2,3,4}; list.ForEach(x => list.Remove(x));
  16. @troyahunt ...in my case I don't think it is the hardware that is the problem ;)
  17. @troyahunt How was it sharper? 500D has more MP, but same sensor size so possibly more noise. DIGIC4 vs. DIDIC3 might make a diff too but...
  18. This is an old 400D w/ nice EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens: http://bit.ly/4n28d6 Shows lens used is much more important than DSLR body.
  19. I mean, printing in SL4 is nice and all, but it's no DLR announcement.
  20. I seem to be the only person in the world that didn't find anything from #pdc09 that exciting.
