  1. @oldmanuk Unicode testing - had to transform (was using iconv) then edit with hex editor. Now a bit of java produces files from a template!
  2. spent a few hours writing utility code to convert xml files yesterday - saved me an hour already today! more time savings before lunch :-)
  3. @ejellard Cool! You're really getting into the arduino business!! Must look at bitsbox myself...
  4. @crshnburn Ark would be appropriate. Soaked in the 2 min dash to car.
  5. @cumbers Expect they forgot to ring you... That happens to me 9 times out of 10 ;-)
  6. just back from the pub quiz. embarassing scenes. without google, my general knowledge is awful....
  7. @timdp I've got a wii and a ps2 :-(
  8. @andrewdlindsay I haven't tried clicking it, just refreshing the page :-)
  9. @DanJHarrison perhaps i should try it... or just close the client and stick to using the one on my phone :-) or sharpen my greasemonkey!
  10. wishing twitter wouldn't tempt me by showing the number of unrefreshed tweets in my task bar :-)
  11. @timdp sadly about 5 minutes' mousing is my limit.... not sure it'd be so good with a trackball!
  12. really liking the sound of #mw2... pesky RSI :-(
  13. @lauracowen Very interesting! When's the next installment? :-) why did you choose oggcamp as a name? Podcast/file format link?
  14. Tried 3 shops on the way to church before finding one with a poppy! Tesco to the rescue :-) (yes I should have got one earlier)
  15. @andrewferrier Fair enough - there's an IBM wikipedia page and a Hursley wikipedia page but not a crossover :-) your solution is good.
  16. WAH - the baby's sleeping and I daren't have a shower!
  17. writing g11n tests for an SVG parser. i know it'll only parse UTF-8 but I still need to go through the motions and write UTF-16/UTF-32!
  18. @andrewferrier radical, but how about listing them on the Hursley wiki page? Assuming there is one...
  19. http://twitpic.com/o86dr - Rainbow over Hursley House yesterday :-)
  20. Impressed by opera mobile on the e71 - finally a native app! First beta but seems usable so far. And snappy! :-)
