  1. @jearle You can compute the flic.kr URL. It's a base-58 encoding of the photo ID: http://gist.github.com/98804
  2. @lbutlr Darkslide supports http://flic.kr style short URLs. No plans to use a 3rd-party site.
  3. @rodkar Limitations in iPhone OS.
  4. Darkslide 1.6.2 has _finally_ been approved in the App Store. These delays are getting tedious.
  5. @wuperruper Not promising eternal free upgrades but, currently, there is no way in the App Store for me to charge you to upgrade.
  6. @wuperruper Watermarking is unlikely, mostly due to lack of demand for the feature.
  7. @clintthayer Working on it. Initial sample: http://www.flickr.com/photo...
  8. Darkslide 1.6.2 is in review with the App Store. Fixes the blank tabs on startup problem for iPhone OS 2.2.1 devices.
  9. Darkslide 1.6.1 is out: lower memory usage and compatibility with iPhone OS 3.0.
  10. If you're getting an error about Twitterrific not being installed when tweeting from Darkslide, try deleting Twitterrific and re-syncing it.
  11. Looking into problems around tweeting photo links with Twitterrific 2.0.
  12. Darkslide 1.6.1 is in review, with memory improvements and iPhone OS 3.0 compatibility.
  13. Dang. Accidentally let my true nature out in that last tweet. Forgive me, @darthvader.
  14. Someone at @macworld forgot about Darkside's Near Me feature when compiling this list of GPS-enabled iPhone apps: http://bit.ly/bgtRj
  15. @scotartt Darkslide only fires up the GPS when it needs it - when you're in Upload or Near Me. Other times, it's off and doesn't cost power.
  16. @scotartt Yup, understood. There are some limitations to easy resuming in Darkslide, but it's an area for future work as iPhone improves.
  17. @scotartt Do let me know of any specific things you feel should be addressed.
  18. Also, Darkslide 2.0 will require iPhone OS 3.0.
  19. For those of a geeky disposition, Darkslide's thumbnail downloading has been rebuilt for Darkslide 2.0 to use NSOperation.
  20. Starting to purr under iPhone OS 3 beta.
