@ true I really have loved being able to put any collection of objects in an Array. Also, love init helpers %w(), hash helpers, etc

What was the first thing that made you really love Ruby? For me writing code not XML, iterators, and mix-ins come to mind.

When I first came from Java->Ruby. I didn't like "txt #{var} txt" was opposed to "txt "+var+" txt", now the + just seems harder to parse
