  7. Well, it's official. I am the cook in our house. So now that's that, I'll have to learn how to make a few new things. Last night stir fry.
  8. So cool: CrashPlan allows reciprocal backup between friend's rather than backup to cloud. Community-driven rather than cloud driven. Hot!

  11. Argo Coffee in Chicago has Early Grey with steamed milk and vanilla. I must have this some day.
  12. NYC still great even in rain. K-town a favorite. Park there is relaxing, and right on orange line. Eat at Woorijip - pay by the lb.
  13. Intelligentsia direct trade coffee: Guatemalan. Superb. Smooth, sweet, a roasted nut taste.
  14. Million Dollar Quartet at the Apollo Theater in Chicago. Awesome! Raw talent. Music was perfect mix of nostalgia with fresh originality.
  15. Discovered Andersonville in Chi-town. Lovely place. Edgewater sucked.
  16. Surrogates - mix I Robot with a gamer flick, bore Bruce Willis out of his gourd, to just go through the motions, and you've got this film.
  17. Zombieland - pointless, as are most zombie movies, but without the decency of making you jump out of your seat - boring zombie humor.
  18. Couples Retreat - awful formula film - take a good film - City Slickers: remove the talent, point, and genuine humor, then add spouses.
  19. Law Abiding Citizen - revenge with torture for pleasure - blue collar white trash cinema.
  20. Where the Wild Things Are - morose, tortured, depressing - not a ray of light in the whole thing - awful.
