  1. @wbruce that is the story of essentially every community. Artistic, musical, tech, etc. Hell even restaurants people get that way.
  2. Good friend I last talked to last when I was 12 years old just sent me an email. Dumbstruck, that he even looked for me on the internet.
  3. Just found and fixed (implemented a notification for when it happens again) a once a year DST issue that will only occur on gaining an hour.
  4. Got Google Wave, finally! Now I just need more contacts to work with. @LynnWallenstein & I are going to work on projects & see what it can do
  5. Ugh, now I remember why I make @lynnwallenstein write all my software specs & proposals... because I would rather the pain inflicted on her.
  6. Woohoo, Nikon D90 got here. Never been so excited to read a manual that resembles a novel before. Going to be late to @lynnwallenstein's.
  7. All backed up and ready to install windows 7 on my desktop. Luckily I have my mac to keep me company should something go wrong.
  8. You can style a table but you can't table a style. No need to fear using tables properly in HTML. They are there for a reason, tabular data!
  9. Gave in to temptation for lunch today. As I thought, I'm dropping off to sleep, trying to buoy energy w/ caffeine. No more lunch at work!
  10. Worst part of programming is when things that worked seem to break all at once. Need more tests to cover external processes.
  11. @cooperfdiv oh yeah, no problem, silly me trying to fit into 140 characters =) http://docs.jquery.com/Sele...
  12. Choosing to echew work for the night to focus on writing a blog post. A rare thing for me. Specially with so much to do.
  13. @cooperfdiv You're welcome, went too fast you actually have quote around the value $("[name^='abcTxt']") can also $= for end *= for contains
  14. @cooperfdiv you can do something like $('[name^=abcTxt]') ^= finds attributes that start with the value.
  15. Wondering about corporations and social media. If it's one guy who makes it feel natural or if you can turn it into a process.
  16. @RelientTU Thanks for noticing about the support for @GourmetLibrary. I'm really hustling to both do the development & also provide support.
  17. Trying to catch my stride again, writing features/scenarios between bits of Civ4 (a game I can save and walk away from after 10 minutes)
  18. TDD is like exercise, if you make it part of your daily routine its easy, when you skip it for a while getting back in the stride is hard.
  19. Launched the beta site http://gourmetlibrary.com. Finally. Still have a lot of work to get done in the next couple of weeks to improve it.
  20. Looooong day, launched a closed beta today. Tomorrow all the wonderful suggestions people have provided so far.
