  4. RT @SarahVivienne: @RosieParsons Thanks :) I'm just glad I don't have to shoot a wedding today. Me too.
  5. I'm off to rig the studio for more ballet sessions. http://bit.ly/66GYri I'm glad I'm not shooting on location today.
  6. @jamiewillmott Thanks Jamie. 21, 35, 85, 135 will probably be my line up for 2010. We'll see.
  7. @derektchristie My plan is to replace one zoom lens at a time with a prime. The 24-70 will be the toughest because I'll want 2 primes.
  8. @derektchristie Sounds exciting. I like the simplicity of fixed focal length and manual focus, especially for wide angle lenses.
  9. The amazing Canon135 f/2L is next. After Christmas I'll be flush again (royalties due). The lenses in my bag will be: 21mm, 24-70mm & 135mm
  10. @cameronphotos Yes but, I think I'm going to prefer the f/1.8. Much lighter, and just as sharp apparently. Anyway that will have to wait.
  11. @ijmorrison Oh I will. The only tests I can find on the 21mm are geeky MTF stuff with inanely dull pictures. Not for long!
  12. @HampshirePhoto Maybe, but at f/4 dust is not an issue and I manually clean the sensor before each job anyway :)
  13. Oops, I just bought the Carl Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 for my beloved 5D mk11. I feel reckless but excited at the same time.
  14. News @ ProPhotoNut: Shooting Winter Weddings ~ Pictures and Techniques: After last years lau.. http://tinyurl.com/yhzvw8y
  15. @theDalbyMan As a pro, missing a shot is more expensive than repairing a lens. My advice if you dont need to shoot Vfast is use lens caps :)
  16. @alanbremner Manfrotto 684b monopod. old model – replaced with a far clumsier, heavier version with naff safety catches and foot plates etc.
  17. @chphotos All done and dusted then? Pop a cork and chill. Another wedding tomorrow?
  18. @alanbremner I'm not keen on the bulk and weight of the f/1.2 seeing as I'm not a fan of ultra shallow DOF.
  19. @SimonAntony ...all used Billingham bags. And I still have mine after 10 years of hard use. I can change lenses without putting the bag down
  20. @SimonAntony All my lenses are L and therefore sealed so dust is not really an issue. I learned how to shoot fast from press shooters who...
