  1. bomb squad outside my building! http://twitpic.com/kikdk something suspicious at 135 post (gumps)
  2. @AdamKingStudio but yeah going to something larger is probably a good idea
  3. @AdamKingStudio I mean for a board of the same length & width so 12 x 12 - 4/4 @ $10bd/ft = $10 vs 12 x 12 - 6/4 @ $10bd/ft = $15 (right?)
  4. @AdamKingStudio - then i guess my real problem is how to balance being a cheapskate with my need to correctly dimension my lumber :)
  5. @AdamKingStudio perhaps but that adds a 50% premium which in a commercial setting you can recover but makes a big difference to a hobbyist
  6. @AdamKingStudio - so how dimensioned is dimensioned enough is my real issue i guess.. well you get the idea :)
  7. @AdamKingStudio i.e ideally my lumber would be perfectly square and flat but there is no way to joint out 3/4" of cup in a 3/4" x 7' board
  8. @AdamKingStudio problem: maximizing board thickness while also sufficiently dimensioning them ie a bit of cup is ok but not ideal
