  2. We are broiling in NW IN today. Summer has arrived with a vengeance.

  7. Last time I was close to the Taste is when Cows on Parade was on display.
  8. We have a John Dillinger museum in Northwest Indiana, currently at the Welcome Center in Hammond/Highland.
  9. Crown Point residents and most of us in NW Indiana can't wait to see Johnny Depp's "Public Enemies," much of which was filmed locally.
  10. Monday June 15 at Dunes State Park was crowded with sunbathers. Bet it's even more crowded today at our great local beaches.
  11. Chesterton hosts the European Market each Saturday, 8- 2pm. It's held downtown at Broadway and 3rd.
  12. Janet Davies and 190 North filmed in Chesterton last week. The Beacher was there.
  13. Drum Corps is coming to Michigan City next week! The Cavvies will compete against a bunch of good corps. The Colts from Dubuque'll be there.
