  1. iPhone Javascript fun w/o any extra libraries: http://bit.ly/iphjstoy
  2. Using window.onorientationchange in Javascript for iPhone web apps is much fun! :) Started w/simple page background red/blue by orientation.
  3. Convert Mac .icns to PNG in Terminal (via http://bit.ly/yLavV ): sips -s format png ExtractedFromApp.icns --out app_icon.png
  4. Crud, there goes an hour of my life to bash.org ... again. :) "IRC is just multiplayer notepad." RescueTime, take me away! ;)
  5. @goretsky Scanning in some old photos of mine. Check them out: http://bit.ly/1312Vx
  6. Settings | Labs | Back To Beta -- Enable, Save Changes. Whew! :) http://bit.ly/8KO9o
  7. @merbist Money. Most folk still aren't in the mindset to pay for web apps; app store starts w/assumption that people will pay, so they do.
  8. My interview went well, but sadly not well enough. I wish @Redfin the best of luck finding the right dev, tho I wish more it had been me. :)
  9. @abscondment Hear hear! I sandbox Firebug (run it in a dedicated account) because there's nothing else like it, but don't want it installed.
  10. Hating that XMLHttpRequest can't detect 3xx redirects because they are transparently followed.
  11. @coryosborn WebGuild claimed that in Nov, Jan and now. It's possible that there's a wolf this time, but WebGuild isn't a source I'd trust.
  12. Not naturally social, I can get lost in my world and forget how great it feels to hang out w/friends and good folk. 4th was a fun refresher!
  13. Long process of getting toddler and boomy things ready is done... Heading to @shaterri's for food, flames, fireworks and fun. :)
  14. AT&T itemizes iPhone data usage in online bill details. If printed, my bill alone is going to kill a good sized tree. 46MB, @ 20k each.
  15. @abscondment Yeah; but my first question when asked to write a Fib fn was 'iterative or recursive?' Iterative Fibonacci for the O(n) win. :)
  16. Had 1st interview in a while. Was fun, went well. Post-interview coma. Interviewer got Fib(n) complexity wrong but so did I. Θ(1.618^n)
  17. @webwright http://xkcd.com/552
  18. @coryosborn Tried RubyMine yet?
  19. @newrelic Damn; as a developer of a Java desktop app, you had me excited for a minute there! You mean Java *web* app monitor.
  20. @abscondment Quote it! "Not to be outdone a fleet of gnomes bubbled up a brine of salt and wine, moonlight, mumbled prayers and tangled hair
