  1. @Cammo Interesting. That would skew expectations. I went into it thinking it would be a bad end-of-world thing, so nowhere to go but up. :)
  2. @Cammo Didn't even admire any of the vfx? I found the movie was great for one within that genre & some fx pretty nifty.
  3. @chrisWhite May be what you're familiar with, but my experience could apply that to any religion.
  4. @chrisWhite A different data point can completely offset any theory; new experiences can change black & white into grey.
  5. @chrisWhite I also think any absolutes are dangerous. Any given viewpoint can't be more than any given experience or data.
  6. @chrisWhite Wouldn't say it was confined to protestants. ;)
  7. @chrisWhite Its been my observation that was soon as someone claims they are absolutely right, they become not so much so. ;)
  8. @marluco And try to enforce that no getting up within the hour of take of & landing with parents of small children.
  9. @d_tremblay The menu looks amazing. Have a great day!
  10. @marluco Sounds like I won't be able to photograph Salt Ponds anymore :( The measures they are talking about really can't prevent everything
  11. @ifrederic Good luck. Hope someone is taking photos. :) Best to the clan!
  12. @tomguilmette Thanks! Happy holidays to you as well.
  13. @NateCow No emergency service? That's a long time for that.
  14. One of my favourite types of photography is parents with kids. Candid shots. There's some magic to be found in that connection.
  15. @chrisWhite Sorry to hear that. Don't know if it would be subject matter or era. Or just a school that chose well.
  16. @chrisWhite So many possible benefits to this technology - hope they aren't squandered by short-sighted fools.
  17. @chrisWhite And updating … again, should be an advantage. Right now that is an advantage journals have over text books -- more current.
  18. @chrisWhite The science books I bought weren't rubbish but were tremendously expensive. With no printing fees they *should* reduce cost.
  19. @NateCow Hmmm … I wonder if this will help reduce costs of books for university students? Not you highlighting, but you reminded me of this.
  20. RT @5tu Have yourself a Bokake Xmas! http://yfrog.com/4gbyjsj
