  1. @michalsen I am also bringing my hatchet, a coping saw, a wood rasp, a couple of extra knives, my wood carving tools, and my bar stool.
  2. @michalsen I figure half the knives will be dull at the Primitive Skills Meetup, so I am bringing sharpening tools. Do you have a wetstone?
  3. @Podchef "Tagine of carrots, chick peas & rabbit?" Is so full of irony that it could cure an anemic! (sorry for the bad pun)
  4. @make I may tie one of my aquariums to my indoor garden for automatic watering. First step towards my indoor aquaponics I am working towards
  5. @programmingjoy There is an iframe at the end of the page on the softwareliberty.org site. Victim of an attack. FTP connection was hijacked.
  6. Oh, Shiney. I just wrote a little cron job that saves my memcache'd user access logging to disk. Quick bursts of disk writes for efficiency.
  7. @mitey The new 'shun'. Disconnect from a person on the social media scene. Vicious! The implications of this deserves some thought...
  8. @michalsen That is an odd one. A built in function shouldn't 'go away'. Is this the same server as 2 weeks ago? Did the system lib go away?
  9. Arghhh! I just had admin responsibilities foisted upon me for a 115k post forum. I don't want to pretend to be nice to people who won't read
  10. @eaton Do we need a #NSFW twitter greasemonkey script where we can flag people for posting links to non-work related sites?
  11. If you need to do something really dumb in some code, is it ok if you document it as such?
  12. This would explain some of the problems I have been having... RT @programmingjoy The problem with PNG #programming http://bit.ly/p0SLx
  13. @csixty4 But what if it's really interesting spam? http://www.flickr.com/photo...
  14. Oh, gosh that looks tasty! I have a chicken carcass in the crock pot cooking down into chicken broth. I so want to take a spoon and try some
  15. @michalsen I don't have a timer ready for you for tomorrow. It's sitting here blinking furiously at me, but in all red leds at the moment.
  16. One summer vacation, My best bud and I were riding our Mt. Bikes and he said stop. I stopped my 1 day old bike and flew over the handlebars.
  17. @Podchef So to make my own chicken stock in a crock-pot, no salt needed right? Just need cut up chicken bones, water, heat & time.
  18. @podchef Store bought chicken stock has stupid amounts of salt in it. Is there a reason for this? I just put a chicken in the crock pot.
  19. Hrmm, that's the first time I have needed to do a PHP unset() on some variables so that a page will continue to load. Large emails are fun!
  20. @michalsen Yep, it's amazing how long a second can last, isn't it? MySQL needs a 'graceful' like apachecrtl. A "please don't die" mode.
