  1. How Twilight Works http://theoatmeal.com/story/twilight from @oatmeal
  2. Genius: http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/blogs/2009/11/neil-young-sings-the-fresh-prince-theme-song/
  3. I've never been addicted to a late night talk show before, so I hope you're proud, @jimmyfallon, that you're permanently on my DVR schedule.
  4. Best $85 I've spent all year: Audio-Technica ATH-M50 headphones. These things have made me rediscover sound in a way I never imagined.
  5. Not sure I dig the vocalist, but this video is quite arresting (creepy): http://friendlyfirerecordings.com/Bands/OhNoOno/swim.html
  6. I have 9 (possibly more) unwatched episodes of this season's HEROES on the DVR. Should I even bother with it? I think I'm done.
  7. @aphonik To be fair, you can also opt for a side of...bread. Yo dawg, I heard you like Cosi sandwich bread, so we put mo bread in yo bread.
  8. @Enuf3 Boo-ya! That's how you do it! I'm glad to hear that evil hagbeast couldn't bring you down.
  9. @aphonik "I'm a ravin of time and the reason's under me achieving maximum pace." What, exactly is a "ravin of time??" Ha.
  10. @aphonik Haha! I love "like a crash and attacks I feel the fidget in me. it's erratic and rash..."
  11. To all my old school electro-industrial peeps: X-Marks the Pedwalk is back! http://www.stormingthebase.com/details.asp?ProdID=9371
  12. I know the Kanye thing is old and tired, but this made me laugh out loud: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyKNxUThW4E
  13. I've also got my eye on v01d's "This is Not a False Alarm Anymore" and the mighty (expensive) KIRLIAN CAMERA "ODYSSEY EUROPA" 4 disc box.
  14. Some rare gems in the rough this year so far: ROTERSAND "Random is Resistance"; IMMINENT "Cask Strength"; BABYLAND "Cavecraft"
  15. I won't say "dead," since I'm pathetically optimistic. But the music/culture I devoted most of my life to has been on life support for ages.
  16. Figures the band would break up right after I rediscover them. But that seems to be the trend these days. "Industrial" is a dying scene. :(
  17. If you're like me and never could get into Babyland in the past, do yourself a favor and give their latest album a try. It's rock solid.
  18. It's a rare thing when your wife AND mother-in-law appreciate the aesthetics of transforming robot collectibles and other nerdy decor.
  19. We invited her over to watch the film, but I wasn't prepared for the amount of geek knowledge her brain contained. Her joy was adorable.
  20. Apparently she collected 12" Star Trek figures back in the day. Now I understand why she has no issues with all the toy robots in my house.
