  1. FB RT: Dermot Reid fave cv quote today: "I've been looking for a company that makes me grow up" .....
  2. @aslamkhn lol there is always one country who makes things difficult...move to sweden mate :D
  3. @cperrone @gblock a translation table seems clunky. You can't converse openly with a customer. You'd probably defeat the purpose
  4. @gblock seriously though if the customer doesn't speak English and team doesnt speak target, it is hard to have one UL
  5. @gblock ...To be honest, I solved my problem by moving to English-speaking Ireland :D
  6. @gblock np. @JimmyNilsson said same in his blog years ago. I'm still debated. Ubiquitous Italian terminology was ok until Siemens bought us!
  7. I'll get an iPhone 3GS as soon as it is back in stock. I'll pretend to be the coolest jobless person in Ireland :D
  8. @gblock It depends, but generally, agreement is that entity names should be in the target language, not english.
  9. RT @mcobrien: Just left drinks with best people I've worked with. Trying to think change is always good, but this is tough.
  10. @carlideysel uh? a stick? I though women could only be beaten with thorny roses :D
  11. @carlideysel true about retrospectives, but i'd rather take the risk and guilt every time. Better than avoid them and hide potential issues.
  12. RT @csharpzealot: this is ABSOLUTELY HILLARIOUS - http://bit.ly/xmK6P !!! man, i can't stop laughing!!! The Website is Down!
  13. RT @colin_jack: Dan North on the Perils of Estimation:http://is.gd/1lhlp. So true.
  14. @nicke_andersson I am free indeed. Clearing up my desk, writing the last expenses, doing a bit of handover and saying goodbye to friends
  15. Maybe I'll walk the earth for a while, like the kung fu guy..oh wait he is dead now...then, maybe I'll go back to being a consultant ;-)
  16. @BrianMcGee1 Me too...I even moved to a new country :D
  17. @BrianMcGee1 yes, absolutely..and then (probably) a sense of fear when you realize that you haven't absolutely planned your next move!
  18. @BrianMcGee1 yep it was...big dilemma for too many days.
  19. @farmar @michaeltiberg thank you guys..big change after 6 years!!
  20. Big news: I am leaving InnerWorkings. It has been a fantastic ride. My future? Unknown. I'll definitely take a break though.
