  1. Trying to pinpoint a market bottom or top (which is impossible with consistency) is not the objective. Making money is the objective.
  2. From the wires: "Warren Buffett bought a railroad company. Does his latest acquisition signal a market bottom?" I love happy silly talk!
  3. No great trader trades from their "gut". Great traders use systems to avoid letting emotions interfere with good decision-making.
  4. @Pia_Varma Soylent Green!
  5. Some U.S. Congressman just said the Fed can start tightening when unemployment goes below 5%. Did I miss something? Are pigs flying soon?

  7. A PhD needed for trading? No. Consider: http://bit.ly/DQRKw
  8. No election, whether electing Republican or Democrat, conservative or liberal, will induce economic development. That comes from "people".
  9. Instead of worrying bout jobs, I say worry bout making $$$. The notion of a job (read: "security") is circa 1952. That game is over folks.
  10. Media types keep talking of jobs, jobs, jobs. Do you really think voting some politician into office will create you a job?
  11. Such a great line: “What We Have Got Here is Failure to Communicate.”

  13. If I was 18 today, and going to college meant loans, I would not go. Waste of money. Start a business. Trade. But student loan debts? Ug.
  14. Most American healthcare ills are self-induced (food, smoking). Giving everyone "healthcare" is like bailing out the banks. Moral hazards!
  15. @bmabe thanks!
  16. @JohnChow Box of film DVDs on the way to you today John! Put 'em to good use!
  17. Equity markets drop a little and that is the end of the trend? No one knows yet. Unless your stops are hit, you are still in.
  18. http://www.cnbc.com/id/3348... is absolute nonsense straight out of some reporter's ripe imagination. They make it up to fill the day!
  19. Legend of Buffett is one of buying value & stock picking, but if he was not bailed out with tax dollars - he goes under. Think about it.
  20. @JohnChow will send you an email for your address!
