  12. Cottages booked for next week. Still have spaces open in June. Got a little rain yesterday and everything is staying green.
  13. More rain in tonight's forecast. Harvested baby red potatoes & a bowl full of snow peas. Love the garden. Too bad about this year's peaches.
  14. Rains buckets yesterday. Windy, too -- blew over 3-ft. prickly pear. No worries, it's going back in the ground this a.m. Happy it rained.
  15. Today's high in mid 90s; probably will set a new record. Sunny and gorgeous. Roses in full bloom, daylilies about to pop. Looks like spring.
  16. We have cottages available next week Mon. thru Thurs. Next available weekend: 1 cottage for May 29 & 30, 1 cottage for Sat only, 5/30.
  17. Planted strawberries in multi-pocketed pot and several basil & mint plants in garden. Minted iced tea in our future. High today in low 90s.
  18. Saw Culture of Cool exhibit at Blanton Art Museum in Austin on Thurs. Tres cool! Got creative juices flowing. Rained last 2 days -- huzzah!
  19. Out the door heading to Tierra Vista to do an Art in the Garden talk for their garden club. Taking along some of my mosaic pieces. Cheers!
  20. Making hot cross buns for Easter breakfast; recipe from Master Gardener friend. Hope it rains tonight, as predicted.
