  1. Don't get mad at yourself when you "screw up". Ask "what unmet need was I trying to fill?" then fill it more directly
  2. is it just me, or is it too hard sometimes to actually get a meeting scheduled, prepared for and attended? at least if it involves others...
  3. spend too much time arguing? try the "3 strikes rule" -- if you say something 3 times and no one agrees, you both have to quit talking

  16. It's a sad reality that when people need help most, they are least likely to accept it. Guess they don't want to look/feel needy.
  17. Talked to another client about planning today. I don't want a lot of process, but it is important to all know where you are going..together

  20. I tell start up clients to expect senior level org changes every 6 months -- the pace of business change, people can't develop fast enough
