  5. Work went well last night. Still have a lot to learn in the next two weeks before I'm on my own.
  6. Back from Holiday, preparing to leave for work in the next few minutes.
  7. My mom sent me Drood by Dan Simmons, which got yesterday. Need to finish Doug Clegg's The Hour Before Dark before I start it, though.
  8. Doing some story work & editing on new novella. It's coming together nicely. Should be able to finish it up fairly quickly after the holiday
  9. Lots of chores getting done today. Too rainy for outdoor work, though.
  10. Bought some new threads at the mall. Everything was at least 1/2 off, which was nice. Saving manual labor until tomorrow.

  15. Watching Tres. Sec. Geithner's testimony before Congress is embarrassing for our entire country. Not just him, but the Reps, too...

  17. Just got the perfect job. Will allow me to stay home with my daughter, keep writing fiction, pay bills, do something I like & a good company
