  1. Quite a bit of prep work to do for this evening yet. 'Teller mini-figs to set up, condensed intro to practice. Intro challenges to finalize.
  2. @MacguffinGames Dayum. I want to have paper-prototyping & pints evenings with you too!
  3. Once Linux is shown to run on this, I want: http://bit.ly/3XaFo8
  4. @catfishmaw I was just noticing that as well!
  5. Wow. The newly revamped Google Reader "People You Follow" features are quite nice.
  6. I dreamed that the IGDA board sent me an email warning me off talking about Tim Langdell. My post on our next step(s) goes up tomorrow AM.
  7. Busy Thursday. Starts with a shift @OMSI and ends with some HoneyComb Engine testing @GuardianGames
  8. @demonicmurry That's good, because he couldn't.
  9. @duanejeffers I'd have to do a bit of research, but I think with just a bit of digging I could prove you wrong on the "control" claim.
  10. @coryosborn absolutely-contextualizing external events within the known, I.e. Self
  11. @coryosborn I don't but the old "fear of the unknown" line. As a means of contextualizing the unknown perhaps.
  12. @cellochaplin Welcome home, btw. (-_0)
  13. @ronocdh I don't think I'd agree with that, but it depends on how you define "new" I suppose.
  14. @michelmcbride Agreed. I got kicked from credits on a I game I completed because of a later dispute with the studio. That stung.
  15. @manveerheir Hrm. Not sure how I feel about that approach.
  16. @plushapo @michelmcbride @manveeirheir That is true. I think the crediting standard ought to focus first on the legality of omitting people.
  17. @michelmcbride @plushapo @manveeirheir And even the applicability of uniform titles can go out the window on some projects too, no?
  18. @manveerheir Terms ought to be somewhat flexible per-project and reflect the culture of the design team.
  19. Is it possible we developed a belief in gods because of a desire to be the central characters in our own well-told stories?
  20. @GameCouch Distraction==good technique. Did they respond well?
