  2. Borough market for hot smoked mozzarella wraps & chorizo sandwich then a couple of hours in books for cooks. Roast garlic polenta 2nite.Yum!
  3. Stir roast pumpkin & onions in2 soft polenta, scoop spoonfuls in2 hot butter, fry 2 mins then top w/ cheese & grill, soft,sizzling,dazzling.

  6. Private class and dinner tonight, crab, fougasse, guinea fowl and 3 reason to love lemons.The guests cook most of it themselves!Can't wait!
  7. Making choux for the 1st time in ages, baked then stuffed with porcini cheese sauce, hot cheesey and bursting in every way possible!
  8. Roasted partridge with butter & firm apples,rest, brandy in pan, chick stock & cream.Carve,roll flesh side in sauce, season & celeriac mash.
  9. Little bird season in full swing, pigeon last night with porcini macaroni, tonight it's partridge, winter has it's rewards!
  10. Leftover chicken Chow mein made marvellous by tossing the noodles in roast chicken gravy boiled with sesame oil.All pasta needs a warm coat.

  14. Bacon, Sausage & Tinned Tom Stew w/ my Dried Oregano 4 lunch. The most satisfying thing I've eaten in ages. Is anything better than bacon?
  15. Good fresh mackerel for lunch, tossed in polenta instead of flour, outstanding crust, gorgeous golden colour.
  16. I'm on Market Kitchen tonight, 7pm on The Good Food Channel, in an East Anglia special. A Norfolk Seafood Casserole to rival Bouillabaisse!
  17. New series of Ready Steady Cook starts tonight, I'm on on Thursday. It's a great series full of plenty of energy and great fun!
  18. Sydney draws to a close, the last day the longest, market, lunch at Becasse, a function for 100 then midnight dinner at golden century.
