  2. @zoecello that is the best reason possible
  3. @jephjacques not a crazy thing to do! camping out at a new house can be fun
  4. @ericsbrain You haven't actually given any examples to support your original assertions re: App::Cmd, so any "LA LA LA" here is from you.
  5. @ericsbrain Not by "because I said so", anyway.
  6. @ericsbrain I haven't seen any advice, just ungrounded bloviation.
  7. @ericsbrain useless answer is useless
  8. All-day dev team meeting is much less exhausting than any other all-day meeting.
  9. @OvidPerl I have eyed, but never used, DBIx::Migration::Directories
  10. @OvidPerl Right. You cannot escape! Ze goggles, etc.
  11. @OvidPerl What? no it doesn't -- parent doesn't check $VERSION at all
  12. @OvidPerl referencing $DBIx::Class::VERSION makes base::has_version return true, which means base doesn't try to load DBIx::Class.
  13. @OvidPerl Because before the use, DBIx::Class::Schema isn't loaded?
  14. @schwern IDGI
  15. @wastedcarbon the latter, specifically its current pop culture's incarnation's birthdate.
  16. @wastedcarbon that came up yesterday at work, oddly enough
  17. @ericsbrain It wouldn't be very satisfying if it weren't useful.

  20. @sullencookie it's been snowing off and on all day today
