  1. @alisohani Conceptually (loosely) like TOAST: Tiny Ontologies All Stitched Together but for infrastructure. :)
  2. @PaulMiller Wierd!!!
  3. Listening to: Taiko Drums, great coding music. Having a hardtime believing (I do) a web ui + cloud store + offline store is best 4 this task
  4. Next 2 days (hope that's all it takes) I'm wrking on document coordinate translation & rendering engines. Brain hurts just thinkng about it!
  5. Huge day in Vancouver 2morrow, the opening of a dedicated bike lane over the Burrard Street Bridge! Its only an experiment but it's a start!
  6. RT @mdreid: Just wrote F''(x)≤K and felt as though I was swearing in some kind of advanced l33t-sp34k. [Love It! :)]
  7. One thing about distributed systems, they can certainly be difficult to debug!
  8. @DataJunkie It's a sign to take a day off. Sometimes we need them. ;)
  9. RT @chrismessina Associated Press to start "microformatting" content? http://tr.im/ap_mf #microformats [Let's hope they use Dublin Core!]
  10. How about an hour, two hours? What if you could cut a day or maybe two off knowledge creation projects?
  11. We're in a knowledge economy, from the ceo 2 the office wrker. How much is a persons time worth? How much would you pay 2 save an hour/day?
  12. Wrking on content / user specific automated filter creation. Basically based on content type present the usr w/ filters specific to the data
  13. Making some subtle changes to the ui which I hope will improve the user experience in a non-subtle way! Testing the semantic underpinning.
  14. Thank U Leah @EngineYard 4 following up on my issue & the tshirts! Great service is right up there as #1 priority 4 choosing cloud provider!
  15. RT @lewisshepherd: Google's "Pregel" scalable graph infrastructure http://tr.im/rWu8 [Let's hope they actually release some code 4 a change]
  16. @DataJunkie Forgot to send you this link Wikipedia2SQL: http://bit.ly/WZ7Fg
  17. @alisohani It's an interesting vision. Of course security is a major concern.
  18. @alisohani I've been thinking a lot about the concept of "Active Documents". I think there's a lot of use cases that could be realized.
  19. @mdreid Curious how you take notes during a conference or lecture (you are not giving of course).
  20. RDF & TopicMaps have diff optimum usecases. I fear w/ the rabid interest in LinkedData (rdf based) TopicMaps won't b used when they should!?
