  2. The larger the roaster, the longer it takes to break down. Two days. I need a lackey.
  3. Got some of the strongest berry from the Kenya this week. Have not had that in several years. Very nice.
  4. Misty Valley is one of the most famous coffees in the world and this is the 4th year we've had it. Very rare. Strawberry, lemmon, spice.
  5. AHHH! This is one of those coffees you will remember for a lifetime. 1st taste Ethiopian Misty Valley Idido. Delivered to customers today

  7. 6 Candy Apple Red Tampers w/ Canadian Maple Leaf were given to final 6 judges @ W. Canadian Regionals. Coolest tamper I have ever owned.

  11. Judged the final six at the Western Canadian Regionals. Very tight race. Waiting for the announcements for winners.
  12. I am learning a lot. What a different perspective to bring back to Dallas. It is time for Dallas to be represented in the USBC. Who?
  13. I have been invited to judge the final six tomorrow. For not judging before, making the cut for the finals is really great. I am excited.

  16. Went through 3 Canadian baristas without to much hitch. Some very nice espresso. This is the strongest region of Canada. Multiple champs.
  17. Gotta sleep. Judging first round in morning and some blokes are having a party next door. Ravaged with too much espresso & exhausted.
  18. Party at Habit Cafe in Victoria was a blast. Put names to faces from Canada. Could have very interesting history about my UG22 roaster.
  19. Went to Discovery Cafe in Victoria for CBC judges calibration. Very nice. Has Synesso, Clover, and very good coffee
  20. In Victoria at the Canandian Barista Regionals. Will be judging first round in morning. Hopefully will do well enough for finals.
