  4. We finished the cupping tests for our 2009 harvest and it is delicious: good body, great acidity and an intense chocolate nutty taste.
  5. Slow day, as Sundays usually are at the store. I am listening to Big Mama Thornton and catching up on things, with a cup of coffee.
  6. Very dark day! Weird, it is 9:30 am and it looks like 5 am. Better have another cappuccino.
  7. How many coffees can I have today? I am starting early. Will try my medium roast from yesterday, it looked gorgeous.
  8. Slow day but allowed me to appreciate the towering presence of Arenal Volcano...sometimes I forget that it is there, just 4 miles away.

  12. Look for Tarrazu, or better yet, DOTA coffee beans. Dota is a microclimate within Tarrazu and produces AMAZING coffee.

  16. Today can be measured by seven cups of coffee and a huge down pour...business at the store is slowly starting to pick up.
