  1. Bravo to @ManningBooks for pumping out all these .mobi/.epub book formats for us who have previously purchased pdf based eBooks.
  2. That argument that nothing is essentially new puts substance to the case against software patents.
  3. Enjoying Eric Meijer's first video on Functional Programming. Interesting history discussions of how nothing is essentially new.
  4. Just started first batch of Bison jerky. Maybe a mistake now that power is cycling worse.
  5. @FartingDuck I'd rather them be full of fresh air than ful of (insert your own term here). ;)
  6. @FartingDuck The toilet paper roller now shows when it didn't before. Amazing how companies cut costs without telling ya.
  7. @FartingDuck Have you noticed toilet paper rolls have been been shortened in width to save costs now? Looks like ours is 3/4" narrower.
  8. So windy here today that it seems the power is starting to cycle. Hope we don't start losing power all day.
  9. ♻ @OGOchoCinco: Retweet for a chance to win a signed jersey tonight. Get the #ochocinco app here www.rockapp.com/ocho
  10. ♻ @OGOchoCinco: Retweet for a chance to win a jersey.. CNN thinks #ochocinco app is better than @britneyspears app http://bit.ly/5fn1XH -Pow
  11. Happy Turkey Day everyone! :-D
  12. @FartingDuck Oh, I thought it was "the oncoming freight train" ;)
  13. @bellware Now if you could only send a rimshot sound file via that tweet! ;)
  14. @bellware ...or it may be better stated to provide a perception of where the technology originated, dissuading learning the original.
  15. @bellware No problem I agree with your point. Sometimes one also wonders if the intent of M$ is to dilute the technology they are imitating.
  16. @zapnap Wow! That's a royal pain. Hopefully they are providing some incentive for you to keep purchasing their products.
  17. @bellware Being a primarily .Net guy, I'm still more interested in learning Ruby/Rails natively, before looking at ASP.Net MVC.
  18. @bellware That what I thought you were saying, but I figured I was reading challenged. ;)
  19. @bellware Are you saying the rails community is immature, or the ASP.Net MVC one is? Just asking for clarification here.
  20. @marc_david Have to say the McDonalds any size Newman's Own decaf coffee for $1 is the best deal going on coffee these days. Good stuff!
