  1. @mjasay It's the drivers that stink...
  2. @dhmorton And they are still in transit! :)
  3. @dhmorton Sorted. Hey, on the plus side, at least it wasn't mini-Displayport to Displayport :)
  4. @dhmorton What you got with mini HDMI?
  5. @mjasay Just slammed? Not wedgied and excommunicated? You were lucky! :)
  6. @glynmoody You paying then? :)
  7. @glynmoody No.... and they've talked publically about GLOW before so have prior art so SHHHHH! before they come for us!
  8. @glynmoody Field of use, old chap, field of use.
  9. @dhmorton Do let us know how it goes... it looks quite tempting
  10. @glynmoody Thats the point... the name changes depending on what you add to the kernel. Heck, add a dalvik VM and you get Android :)
  11. @glynmoody Well, you've already renamed it there. The kernel is called Linux. :)
  12. @glynmoody And especially when users will only see Chrome and um.... Chrome. :)
  13. @glynmoody Just because there's a Linux kernel doesn't make it "Linux"... especially with a new windowing system
  14. @MarkAllerton Now *thats* low key...
  15. Scala book arrived today... Liking the initial feel of the language
  16. @cdaffara It's a learning process for all players...
  17. @cdaffara helps no one, and it's a lesson for everyone when implementing and extending standards
  18. @cdaffara The Mono project should have been split like that from the start - Sloppy delineation between standards and proprietary code
  19. @cdaffara Which is why Mono is splitting into two distributions, one covered, one encumbered.
  20. @horseydolphin Nah, Scala.... this is a "practical" language pick....
