  1. Relieving R. of kid-duty this morning at 6, by 7:45, consumed 1 cup coffee, 1 page of book. At this rate, should finish book by early 2013.
  2. If I could, I'd defrag my brain today. The brain feels like a needs a good defragging.
  3. Gah! Why, Flash? Why do you block my HTTP-auth headers when I call FileReference.upload()? @cscalfani, there you go, reason #2...
  4. Damn. Would've liked to be able to work on that iPhone project.
  5. Anyone got any good examples of native apps (Windows apps, e.g.) running Flash as their primary UI?
  6. Wife, on the jacket I'd pulled from the closet: "Hm, I don't know. Looks like Patrick Dempsey in that movie he rode the lawn mower in."
  7. This makes me happy. If I didn't already have a job, I'd want to build this: Publishers Building Online Newsstand: http://bit.ly/5S40aX
  8. Blogged, on the Bing/News Corp. thing: http://bit.ly/6TvmcF
  9. Today is not a fun day to be building a Facebook application.
  10. How sound works (with visuals!) on Vimeo HD: http://tr.im/Fo9F #realplayerflip
  11. Blast! No coffee. Nothin' but dust in the grinder. Now I'll be forced to drink *tea*.
  12. Man I wish I was at PDC. :)
  13. @thanksmister Yeah, seems so. I don't see anything here that couldn't be done with AIR, which is odd; expected more of a WPF/Win7 showpiece.
  14. When are Twitter-app devs going to start caring about memory? Seesmic's new Windows app is nice, but it's at 160 MB after 15 minutes. Sucks.
  15. Kills me when open-source projects don't compile. I'm OK with the binaries & source out of sync, but the source should always compile.
  16. @briforge I'd say Comcast. But you're right, it's relative: my AT&T experience was agonizing, but Comcast @ home hasn't been roses, either.
  17. Anyone using Google Books? Is there any way to pull a feed of all your books *with* your ratings, reviews and tags of them?
  18. First sprinkle of snow this morning. "Yes!" I said. "Noooo!" she said.
  19. Please, never EVER buy anything from AT&T. I am so angry at AT&T Internet services that I can hardly believe it. I've never been this angry.
  20. Internet Grammar Peeve #17: It's "log in," not "login." You wouldn't say, "Click here to username," would you? Of course you wouldn't.
