  1. Cat and Girl, on image of librarians in the media http://catandgirl.com/?p=2115
  2. @cloudchaos Don't actually know. I see people ride around without helmets.
  3. @cherrivenoy Do you think they know they have devil-worshippers playing on their front lawn?
  4. Had an excellent lunch with a colleague!
  5. @cloudchaos Just keep me "in the loop" on whatever you end up doing! We'll be in town, no matter what, on Saturday.
  6. @cloudchaos No particular plans either way. Are you coming out on Saturday? If so, that could be useful news!
  7. @cloudchaos CHI http://www.sigchi.org/
  8. @quickenloans I used to work on the 10th floor of that building. Maybe they'll still have a usability lab there! :)
  9. Working from home today. Have to get up to northern Ann Arbor for a lunch meeting regarding getting the local CHI chapter going again.
  10. Today's going to be a wacky day of coming and going at odd times!
  11. @oppsie So I hear. I hope you can unload that house soon!
  12. @oppsie Lucky! I doubt I'll ever be able to afford one house, let alone two!
  13. @timothyrmills Yes! The more opportunities to make intent explicit, the better! :)
  14. @jcr I like to think of BCC as "Shhh.... don't tell anyone I let you see this email!"
  15. Not sure which cliche I'd like to banish more - "A tale of two X" or "X does not a Y make." Can I just go for both?
  16. Which email client will take the bold step of changing "CC" to "FYI" in its interface, to align the function with its meaning?
  17. How cute - Webex seems to want to refer to Eastern time as "New York Time."
  18. @opensob Luckily, a lot of shortcuts use the Apple/command key instead of CTRL key. So pleased to learn command-tab works like in Windows.
  19. @opensob Yes! I have complained about it frequently in the last 1.5 years at my job. Infrequent tasks = way easy, frequent tasks = WTF.
  20. @amurphy Chicago Diner, depending on your tastes.
