  1. To anyone who has ever torn out hair over floated elements breaking out of their boxes, let it be known: 'overflow:auto' FTW.
  2. @timothydbrown That depends -- after landing on your face, did you bounce?
  3. Recovering from an overdose of math.
  4. Playing with Google QSB.
  5. I'm kicked off gchat when I connect to VPN, and again when I disconnect. aim doesn't seem to mind. What's the deal?

  7. Pages for poster layouts = win. Pages keyboard shortcuts for common drawing & layout commands (e.g., zoom, group) = lose.
  8. Gill Sans -- nice-looking font, worst question mark ever. Just saying.
  9. Haven't flown in awhile. Had to buy some clear, quart-sized, zip-top plastic bags this morning. Seriously, we're still playing this game?
  10. Back to school.
  11. LaTeX is powerful and relatively easy, but it rubs me the wrong way... it feels primitive, somehow; ripe for an overhaul. Hm.
  12. The most "beta" aspect of Movable Type 4 appears to be the documentation. Awesome.
  13. Who thought up the term "favicon"? It must have taken some real thought, is all I'm saying. "favicon". How does one say that in public?
  14. Getting tired of seeing the word "slick" used in reference to Apple apps and hardware. It applies, but come on... "slick" is played.
  15. Food & drink at the Flat Iron.
  16. Riding the ferry to Provincetown. EDGE on the harbor. Nice.
  17. Who is raul, and how did he take over my Twitterrific?
  18. Wondering, not for the first time, why the and tags still exist in HTML space. CSS, anyone?
  19. Wondering, not for the first time, why Twitter chose a character limit of 140 rather than the well-established SMS limit of 160.
  20. Attempting to re-calibrate my MacBook's battery. Not as easy as it should be, Apple. Hmph.
