  1. Testing counts with voice apps too: "the voice told residents to dial 'nine hundred eleven' rather than '9-1-1'" — http://j.mp/7mqe2B
  2. Used @Zipcar phone IVR. Very well done: detects & verifies card # from CID, has urgent choices (extend current rental) first, clear choices
  3. Automated transcription poetry: "Hello Jesse, like that it's unthinkable. Listen library novel voices kinda I love you." (via @jesserobbins)
  4. NYT shined light on how traffic pumping impacts @GoogleVoice & industry. High rural tariffs are consumer tax & funnel to private entities
  5. Downloading @railsbrain's Rails doc tarball for geekery on the flight to San Francisco. Email or reply if you're in SF and want to say hi.
  6. @gawix We're investigating solutions for speech rec. Create a ticket on http://help.cloudvox.com and we'll make sure you're in the beta.
  7. @justingrammens I see 0.05-0.25/min for transcription (based on quality & speed), and cost is still tied to labor (~flat), not Moore's Law
  8. @agibralter We're looking into it. We aren't big enough to do SMS as elegantly as phone calls, but we're going to document how to send them.
  9. @stueccles We're working on UK numbers as we type. Hit http://help.cloudvox.com and we'll get you on the beta.
  10. Read @octolabs DC 311 API and @seeclickfix API last night. Now helping @philipashlock remotely test #open311 devcamp A/V
  11. @treasonx Glad we could help reduce your worries!
  12. Noticing that all of us individually enjoy customer service. Except billing; @lindvall said it well: "billing is the devil"
  13. Thanks to @jicksta @mheadd @lewmoorman @om @deanelwood @simonw and many others for responses and feedback. Now to implementation
  14. Hosting Seattle cloud users group Wed night. @adamhjk's insights + talk shop (>75 reged). Free http://bit.ly/BxDS7
  15. We're committed to sleep deprivation: "Had fun playing with my cloudvox account last night. Sleep was much compromised." (via @metageoff)
  16. @chrisdrackett We love python too! Getting some python examples up is on our short list. Until then, check out StarPy: http://bit.ly/xDxF9
  17. Launching cloudvox.com open phone API. Asterisk, SIP, HTTP/JSON - live in ~45 seconds. Call your code.
  18. #Astricon pro tips: downstairs main lobby is quiet place to talk (on SIP clients). Also, pizza at Grimaldi's.
  19. Got a peek at a niche iPhone app that's totally worth $20 price. Even in niche community, would sell 2-3x more if App Store had 24h trials.
  20. Reading @EngineYard's new site & pricing. Much clearer. Huge change: $25/mo minimum (!), all features, elective support
